Few things I've observed about the factory Systema PTW hopup, it sucks...

That being said, it's made from a pot metal casting and frankly, kind of weak in the bottom. I've seen several of these piece literally crack in half. To solve this issue, I've CNC machined them from stainless steel.

Also the rubber used on them is very small and it just doesn't allow enough hopup to be applied. I've enlarged the rubber roller and I've played around with different rubber compounds until I found one I was happen with. We use .25 to .34gr BB's with better success then the factory piece. Also, the different in rubber compounds seems to suggest these will hold up longer. As with any part of this nature, they can wear out though.

Anyway we actually made the first few of these MONTHS ago but I originally was not going to offer them for sale. I kept a few on hand for PTW's with issues etc but I had so many people bug me that well whatever, here they are. This was more  of a personal project but I had several people express interest in one and after passing out a few freebies for testing, I decided to make a small batch and offer them for sale.

The cost is a bit higher then the factory part but again, these are fully CNC machined from stainless the polished for a nice fit and finish. Not that you can see them anyway ones they are in your PTW hopup but hey.
